Jiangsu Ceramic Art Master

In August 1968, Zi Yiming and Yi Ming, members of the Central Cultural and Art Committee of the Chinese Ceramic Association, Executive Director of the Art Committee of the Chinese Ceramic Association, and Director of the Jiangsu Arts and Crafts Society, Vice Chairman of the Ceramic Art Committee of the Jiangsu Ceramic Association, and Vice Chairman of the Wuxi Oracle Bone Inscription Society, worked at the Yixing Purple Sand Craft Factory. In 1980, they studied the art of purple sand carving with Mr. Bao Zhiqiang, a senior craftsman at the research level and a master of Chinese arts and crafts, and received strict education from their teachers. From 1982 to 1983, he was sent to the Department of Styling Design at Wuxi Light Industry College for one year of further study, majoring in ceramic decoration and styling design. In September 1985, he was admitted to the Decoration Art major at Wuxi Light Industry Workers' University. After graduating in 1988, I returned to the factory and studied the technique of making purple clay teapots with Cao Wanfen, a researcher, senior craftsman, and provincial master of arts and crafts. And constantly using the design theory learned in school to guide my practical work, I have created and designed a number of purple clay works with high artistic standards, and have won provincial and national awards multiple times
